Sonia Kinra

Sonia Kinra is a former litigation attorney with more than 15 years of experience advising businesses and individuals on corporate, banking, and financial matters. During her legal career, she also volunteered with CARPLS, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to legal services.

Since moving to Evanston, Sonia has been an active volunteer and leader within the District 65 community, serving in leadership roles with Unity Preschool, the Orrington PTA, and the Haven PTA. She is also a reading fluency tutor and advocate for equity in education. Sonia and her husband live in Evanston with their three children, who attend Haven Middle School and ETHS.
